Long waited decision was made today: this summer my motorbike
BMW K 1200 LT (2006 model) will be heading from
Espoo to the
Southern Spain.
We will be driving through Estonia – Poland – Germany – France – Spain -route and
we have reserved 5 days to drive ~4400 kilometers into the target and 3 days back,
probably we will do some side routes and eventually drive ~10 000 kilometers during
the two weeks we are on the road.
While coming back we will also be driving one of the Iron Butt rides, probably SaddleSore
2000 one. For those who do not know what this is, it means sitting on
a motorbike for 48 hours and driving 2000 miles!
During the past years,
I have been driving SaddleSore
1000,
BunBurner 1500 and SaddleSore
1600K, so this year it will be the year of 2000 miles!
